This cake design was inspired from other awesome clock retirements cakes I found on Pinterest

It’s a vanilla cake with a vanilla custard filling layered with fresh sliced strawberries. I’m trying to use less rolled fondant these days so I opted to mainly cover the cake with butter frosting and used rolled fondant as accent pieces (post-its and watch hands).

It served 50 people and turned out pretty tasty!
